This is a 10.5' wood
Original Star Mill. It is a direct stroke white mill with red tips.
Location: SWPA Park
This mill was made by Flint & Walling Company of Kendelville, Indiana in 1878. It has a big and little tail. J.B. Buchanan bought it from a homestead near Sedan, New Mexico. They had bought it in 1915. J.B. put it up on a redwood tower from Frank Allen. Orville Latham and Don Reed cut and rebuilt a new wheel and tails.
