6' Clipper

This is a 6' Clipper
single back geared steel mill on a wood tower.
Location: SPWA Park
This mill was obtained
in Colorado. Nothing is known about its history except it was well
used. It required extensive restoration. All new bearings were
poured and a complete steel stub tower was fabricated.
4 x 4" wood tower legs
were used instead of the conventional 5 x 5" tower legs. New wheel
blades on a restored wheel came with the tower. The vane also had
the lettering done.
