8' Steel Eclipse

This is an 8' steel Eclipse mill
on a 24' Samson steel tower.
Location: SPWA Park
Type WG, the last mill type Fairbanks Morse made.
It came to J.B. Buchanan's farm from Roland Wheat, a rancher near Higgins, Texas. He had purchased it new in 1926.
The steel Samson tower came from a farm near Lamont, Oklahoma. This mill was at J.B.'s farm. All Eclipse mills have two tails.
