This is an 8' Model B Elgin Wonder windmill on a steel Elgin tower.
Location: SPWA Park
This windmill was donated to the SPWA by Guy and Roma Harvey of Laverne, Oklahoma.
The mill came from their home southeast of Slapout, Oklahoma. The tower was donated by the Delon Kirk estate to the association.
Burl Buchanan, Dwayne Mitchell, Walter Woolley, and Roger Buchanan took the mill down from the tower to bring to Spearman. Walter Woolley rebuilt the mill and Terry Schneider did the lettering on the tail. The association did the modification on the tower.
