This is a 10' Samson
steel mill. It is an open gear mill on a wood tower.
Location: North Plains Insurance Company at 715 W. 7th Avenue
Woodmanse mills were popular at one time in the area around Beaver, Oklahoma. Walter Woolley found it abandoned on a tower three miles South of Beaver. He obtained the mill from Mr. McGrew then began rebuilding the gear box and tail.
