    Sammie Jones was born in Canyon, Texas.
She was a teacher when she married John in 1929.
They moved to Spearman where she taught in a one room school at Old Hansford called Sunny Side.  She taught  from 1924-1925.

Sammie's Suite features a very soft,  feminine, and luxurious decor. You will find the original bedroom suite that Sammie had in her trousseau.

The walls have the original paint color but have been washed with a soft pink glaze, and feature a hand painted  floating above the chest of drawers.

In July 2002, Brian was removing some of the old ceiling in the kitchen and found this newspaper clipping...it's 75 years old!
