| The Spearman Chamber of Commerce began operation in 1921 and became incorporated in 1948. Over the years, the Chamber of Commerce in Spearman has been very active in the promotion of industrial and retail trade, many and various efforts to enhance the quality of community life, and recently in the promotion of local tourism. Spearman is a very progressive community and with the recent additions of Lake Palo Duro, Palo Duro Dam, and the World Famous J.B. Buchanan Windmill Collection, it is very easy to urge travelers to stop in Spearman and see all there is to see. |

The Chamber is active throughout the year, sponsoring such events as the Annual Heritage Days Parade, Zulu Trading Post Days, Annual Secretary Day Luncheon, July 4th at Lake Palo Duro, Chamber Business Spotlight, KRDF-FM People on the Go, and other various events and fundraisers. The Chamber also works with the Women's Division of the Spearman Chamber of Commerce to hold the Miss Hansford Scholarship Pagent each year. The WDSCC is a very active group that represents our community very well. Also, the Spearman Retail Merchants Association of the Spearman Chamber of Commerce sponsor Moonlight Madness and the Live Nativity each year. Most recently, the Chamber formed a new division in Spearman Connection, to create a substansial presence on the World Wide Web. This site allows the membership to be competitive and marketed to the entire world, while allowing the entire world to view the very things that make Spearman special! |
| Currently there are 107 members of the Spearman Chamber of Commerce.
